TATTZ OF TERROR

While most of you were fooling around with some sticky-ass fake blood Josh Solomon and his pal 'n' parlour-guest Nick Whybrow were getting down with the real thing for Halloween.

Solomon sure does know how to make tattooing all kinds of rad fun, and for October 31st he and Nick brewed up a couple of sheets of some dope flash up at Two Hands Tattoo on Ponsonby Road. And the price was right too. $66.66 is some next-to-last-year's-Twilight-DVDs-in-the-bargin-bin kinda rates for a sweet tattoo.

But here's the rub: You didn't get to choose which tattoo you wanted. All the tattoos were drawn "out of the hat". So trick or treat motherfuckers - pay your money and roll those dice.

Lawrence from K Road skate shop Learning Curve was the recipient of the braindead tattoo. He was totally stoked that he had a awesome haircut as well as new ink. Go and check out his shop too - he is a choice dude.

Thanks to Josh and Nick for letting me hang around like a fly in a morgue while they worked. Keep an eye out for more fun stuff from these guys. Two Hands often have Flash Day events where you can hook up some great ink from the talented folk up there for pretty cheap.

When he's not wrecking people's lives Josh also like to Tumbler. He also has a hardcore band called Satin Lives. They are quite good because you can listen to the whole demo of nine tracks at least three times while you walk to the dairy - that's some efficient use of time right there!

I don't know if Mr Whybrow is in a band but he likes to Tumbler also.

Photos taken on an Olympus PEN EP-3 camera - on loan. If you can get your hands on one snap the hell out of everything. They are crazy amounts of fun.
